NU MOVES is a Nunavut wide initiative that focuses on supporting communities to provide recreational physical activity programming for children 5 – 12 years, that are led by youth leaders.

 

NU MOVES provides training and employment opportunities for youth 15-25 years of age. NU NOVES also provides resources, equipment and promotional items to participating communities.  Youth leaders in turn will run an 8 – 10 week after school program and a finale celebrations event at the end of March

 

Calls for participation are sent out in the fall.
